Community Resiliency

Community resiliency can look different in each community. United Way of Harvey and Marion Counties covers many communities with various needs, and we certainly could work to build resiliency within our communities in many different ways. At United Way's core, community resiliency means we are working to address urgent needs today for a better tomorrow. 

Examples of Community Resiliency:

• Disaster relief and recovery
• Emergency preparedness
• Crisis hotline and support
• Environmental stewardship

United Way of Harvey and Marion Counties is addressing community resiliency by:

• Providing disaster relief and recovery services when necessary. All donations received go directly do those affected - United Way of Harvey and Marion Counties waives all fees.
• Partnering with local shelters and crisis hotlines
