Youth Opportunity

Young poeple are an important part of any community. At United Way, we believe it's our responsibility to help them realize and reach their full potential. Whether it be through childcare and early childhood education initiatives, family engagement activities, literacy development, or college and career readiness, helping youth develop and grow skills can lead to life-long success.

United Way of Harvey and Marion Counties is helping individuals achieve their potential by:

  • Improving access to affordable, quality child care and early childhood learning opportunities to improve kindergarten readiness.
  • Partnering with schools and parents to improve student success rates.
  • Providing after-school, mentoring and leadership programs for children and teens.
