There are lots of ways to volunteer at United Way of Harvey and Marion Counties.

Interested in something ongoing without a formal commitment? Sign up for committee service:

• Campaign Committee - spends a couple months out of each year working in the community to help us raise funds.
• Community Investment Committee - reviews all the programs and organizations applying for support and makes decisions on how our investments should be made.
• Community IMPACT Committee – assesses community needs and initiatives to meet those needs. Currently, this group oversees the literacy program. As those programs are up and running, this committee will explore additional initiatives to launch.

Ready to make it official? Consider board service. The Board of Directors oversees the organization's operations as well as creates long-term strategic plans and community visions. Board members also serve on one or more committees.
